Mark has 20+ years experience in the mining industry with roles ranging from trainer assessor in rail, mining and construction to leading safety training functions, developing resource material, facilitating workshops, assessing development and providing coaching for results.

Mark has the ability to take operational human resource concerns and drive improvement via comprehensive outcome oriented training delivery; ensuring performance indicators and feedback mechanisms from all stakeholders are taken into consideration.

As an experienced operator and front-line manager in the industry, Mark has supported the training function across many and varied teams and has the ability to quickly understand an organisation’s culture and adapt where necessary.

Mark has vast experience leading teams including development and implementation of Pre-start/Safe-start meetings. Roll out and training of Peer on Peer behavioural observation programs. Management of staff and contractors e.g. implementing electric air brake system at BHP Pilbara Rail Operations.
